definitely vampires. there's no contest. in saying that for those of you who are fans of twilight i would pick jacob black over edward cullen any day (or night for that matter) despite the fact that vampires are supposed to be cooler (in both ways) than werewolves. that's the only exception. vampires & werewolves are so cliched though. i'm not sure i would actually want to be a vampire if it was possible. living forever & drinking human blood doesn't appeal to me.

this entry is otherwise pointless. real entry coming soon seeing as i've started a new job so i have alot to whine about. i'm sure you're all looking forward to it. not long until breaking dawn comes out. i hope everyone's friday the 13th wasn't too unlucky.

things that i think most people would find offensive:

- eating disorders
- depression
- race
- religion
- child abuse & sexual abuse
- rape
- the genocide of the jews in world war 2 (certain people might find it funny)

it depends on who's telling the joke & who they're telling the joke to of course. what is hilarious to 1 person may be very offensive to someone else & what is offensive to 1 person may be hilarious to someone else. political correctness is subjective but there are some lines that shouldn't be crossed. borat was a movie that definitely crossed the line many times but people still found it funny.

like most people i don't like being the butt of the joke. i find it hard to laugh at things that i have done that were humiliating. some people would be able to laugh it off but not me. i just take things too seriously. i do have a good sense of humour though. i'm interested to know other people's views on this.

i'm taking a break from lj until the end of the month because i have exams next week and i need to study. please don't take me off your friends list. it's my 18th birthday in 10 days! it's a shame it's during the exam period but thankfully i don't have an exam on my birthday and it's on a friday so i will have the weekend to celebrate and revise for the rest of my exams. i can't wait until my exams are finished because i have summer and christmas to look forward to.

i'm going to raratonga tomorrow and i won't be back until the 27th of april so if i don't comment on your entries or update for awhile you now know why. don't take me off your friends list either because that would be sad. stay cool you guys and have a happy easter.
